Pastor Jeffery & ShellY Ralston

LEAD PASTOR

Lead Pastor Jeff Ralston was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and raised in the Ozark Mountains. A nurturing Christian home established the foundation of his convictions, as Spirit-filled parents taught by example a lifestyle of faith and sacrifice. He graduated from Fayetteville High School and went on to attend the University of Arkansas before going full-time into the ministry. 

After a two-year internship at Wichita First Pentecostal Church in Kansas, he married Shelly, and they moved to Fayetteville to assist at Northeast United Pentecostal Church. Two years later, they took to the road to evangelize and learned firsthand of God’s faithfulness in provision and healing. Then in December of 2002 (upon the retirement of 31-year pastor C.D. Thornton)God sent Jeff Ralston in a new direction – he became Pastor of First Pentecostal Church of Lake Charles.

Pastor Ralston has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He serves as a chaplain for the Louisiana State Police (Troop D)and also on the board of Children and Youth Planning of Calcasieu Parish. He is a gifted speaker who participates in conferences around the world, with a special burden for the people of the Philippines. However, his heartbeat is the city of Lake Charles and surrounding communities.

Jeff and Shelly have four children: Abigail, Nick, Luke, and Levi.
